EXECUTIVE PASTOR OF STAFF AND DEVELOPMENT

GREENFORD CHRISTIAN CHURCH - GREENFORD,OH

The opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a thriving, growing church and help shape what comes next. Greenford Christian Church is a multi-campus church of 2,000+ people with strong momentum, a clear discipleship vision, and a noticeable shift toward a healthier, more collaborative staff culture. The Executive Pastor of Staff Development plays a central role in that momentum—not by managing programs, but by investing in people. You’ll partner closely with the Lead Minister to build leaders, strengthen teams, and create the systems and clarity that allow a great staff to become even more effective. This role carries real influence and trust, with the opportunity to shape culture, develop a leadership pipeline, and help unify a growing, multi-campus church around its mission. If you’re energized by developing people, leading through relationships, and multiplying impact, this is a chance to step into a healthy environment and help take it to the next level.

The right candidate is someone who

01
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPER

You don’t just lead people—you multiply them. You have a track record of identifying potential, coaching intentionally, and building leaders who can carry real responsibility and influence.

02
Culture builder

You pay attention to what it feels like to be on a team. You actively shape a staff culture marked by trust, unity, accountability, and joy—and you address anything that threatens it with clarity and care.

03
RELATIONAL LEADER

You lead through people, not around them. You’re highly present, emotionally intelligent, and able to navigate hard conversations, coach through tension, and build genuine trust across teams.

04
Systems thinker

You bring structure to growth. You can design and implement clear systems for staff development, evaluations, and communication that help people thrive and the organization stay aligned.

05
Strategic partner

You think beyond your lane and lead at the highest level. You’re able to sit at the executive table, align people with vision, and help translate big-picture direction into day-to-day execution.

06
Clear communicator

You create clarity where there could be confusion. Whether casting vision, setting expectations, or giving feedback, you communicate in a way that people understand, embrace, and act on.
