The opportunity

Gulf Shores Methodist Church is at a pivotal moment in the life of its children’s ministry.

The next Director of Children’s Ministries will step into a ministry of approximately 60 kids (birth–4th grade) across Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights and will be entrusted with bringing clarity, systems, and vision to what is already a spiritually impactful—but underdeveloped—environment.

You bring order to chaos. Systems, schedules, and structure don’t drain you—they energize you.

03
DEVELOPER OF PEOPLE

You don’t just fill volunteer spots—you recruit, train, and empower leaders. You know how to build teams that last.

04
STRONG RECRUITER

You are proactive and relational when it comes to building teams. You see potential in people and invite them into meaningful roles.

05
Relational and Engaging

You connect easily with kids, parents, and volunteers, creating environments where people feel known and valued.

06
Curriculum-Aligned

You’re comfortable working within an established curriculum (Orange) and know how to maximize it to create engaging, effective environments.
