WORSHIP pastor
The opportunity
Orange Beach Church is seeking a Worship Pastor who can help lead the church into a deeper, more authentic culture of worship. This is a unique opportunity for a relational pastor and skilled worship leader who loves both contemporary worship and traditional hymns. The church is in an exciting season of growth, with a new staff team, strong community momentum, and a congregation becoming increasingly open and expressive in their worship. With live music woven throughout the local culture, Orange Beach Church is ready for a leader who can build teams, recruit within the community, shepherd people well, and create worship environments that feel genuine, engaging, and spiritually formative. If you are passionate about developing volunteers, pastoring people, and crafting worship moments that lead others closer to Jesus, this role offers the chance to build something lasting in a vibrant coastal community.
orange beach church
Orange Beach Church is a warm, Wesleyan congregation with a weekly attendance of around 300 split between a contemporary service and a long-standing traditional service. The staff culture is kind, hungry, unfiltered in the best way, and highly collaborative—creating a family-like environment where honesty, support, and fun are woven into daily life. With six full-time staff, the church is stable and positioned for the next phase of growth, including a likely second contemporary service in the future. They value authenticity, spiritual growth, and worship that is both accessible and meaningful. The congregation is learning to move from passive worship to active participation, and the next Worship Pastor will play a key role in shaping that culture, recruiting new volunteers, and building a worship team that reflects the heart of the church.
